IS A REAL ESTATE CAREER IN YOUR FUTURE?

Real Estate, as a career, not only attracts millions of potential agents every year, but also attracts people in every age, economic and experience category known. Unfortunately, as millions enter the field, millions also leave it. This is mostly due to unrealistic expectations of what a career in real estate entails. The hours are flexible, but not few, and you must be flexible around client needs, not necessarily your personal ones.
At Buyer’s Brokers of the Seacoast, we are always eager to talk with potential exclusive buyer agents. Our interview process consists of three interviews:
1. The first with broker-owner Carolyn McGee (mcgee@hallmcgee.com).
2. The second is with an agent
3. The final interview is again with broker-owner Carolyn McGee to discuss policies in detail.
After each interview a candidate and the company will mutually decide whether to take the process to the next level. If you are a new licensee, we encourage you to investigate all the many opportunities available in the real estate field. If you are considering getting your license, we also urge you to take one of the many fine pre-licensing courses available (http://www.nh.gov/nhrec/) The information you learn through this process can help you make personal investment decisions even if you never decide to pursue a career in real estate. All of us at Buyer’s Brokers of the Seacoast came from other fields before settling on our specialization of representing buyers only. |
